This cover happened awhile back and since then, Cheryl got more into her fields of work, later transitioning from production to screenwriting and worked on shows like Bristow Global Media’s “It’s My Party” and Project 10’s “My Perfect Landing”. As she took off with writing, she has become known for her work on various family and teen dramas. Cheryl has written for TV series on platforms like Amazon, BYU TV, CBBC, CBC, and Disney. The Last Mark: An indie crime thriller that was a Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) 2021 Industry Select and an Official Selection in the Canadian Film Festival 2022. It is available on Super Channel.
All the Lost Ones: A grounded sci-fi thriller feature produced by Electric Panda Entertainment and The Donaldson Company, starring Devon Sawa and Jasmine Mathews. It has been acquired by Paramount+ Canada.
Beyond Black Beauty: A unique adaptation of the beloved classic book, available on Amazon.
Carved: A monster flick from October 2024 release on Hulu.
Cheryl is also an advocate for the community of creatives with disabilities and has been involved in various initiatives to promote accessibility in the film industry. She has received several accolades, including the Winter 2024 Inevitable Foundation Elevate Grant and the 2022 Wscripted Cannes Screenplay Nomination.

Additionally, Cheryl has honed her skills in prestigious labs, including the 2023 TIFF Series Accelerator, 2023 Respectability Entertainment Lab, and 2023 Stowe Story Writers Room Lab. She has also been an early advisor for the Disability Screen Office and a community advisor for the ReelAbilities Accessible Writers Lab
