Letting you in to see more previous fun times of Jamie Watling Photography surprising clients! This was back when I was Jess Sicoly’s ( Amadio ) first professional photoshoot which turned into an International Women’s Health and Fitness Magazine Cover after a few months of pushing her hard to this target. She did so well at her shoot I remembered the planning ahead, her ability to take posing direction and great look overall made the images pop and I wanted to try to do something big for her as I always try when clients hint at that being something they would love as an outcome. From setting up her booking to our time on set, Jess was a pleasure to work with, very excited to be on set and such a very sweet individual. I had gotten interest from a few magazines to use our cover style images but for inner features as she was a new unknown model and I asked her if she wanted me to pull the trigger and let them be published in a spread or two, or… wait it out and see if a cover could happen. She said whatever I think… ya put mooooree pressure on meee lol jk. So I said let’s hold off and wait as I know the effort I put into trying to help after the shoots and I believed the images were more than suitable for something big and just had to find an angle or hope my relationships with my contacts pushed something across the line which has happened a lot hence getting countless clients their first ever covers, features, articles as their first ever pro photoshoots.

It took a few more months but eventually when I did my third check in, WH+F said ” yep, it’s time, Jess is going on the cover in a couple of weeks “, wooo. So of course I had to scramble to figure out how to surprise her with only a few weeks notice until it was hitting news stands internationally so I got her on a skype call
as fast as I could. During my submission process I had gave her a questionnaire to fill out with the intent to pair it with the cover submission. After this cover, Jess entered the Status Fitness Magazine top 100 model search which she used our photo for so another publication from this shoot. Images from that set are below.
